Towns of Puglia
Bari, Monopoli, Ostuni, Cisternino and Otranto — each with its own character and story.
Neighbouring Basilicata, Puglia offers another wonderful side of Southern Italy to explore.
I spent two weeks exploring the region, from Bari to Monopoli, Alberobello, Ostuni, Cisternino and Otranto, staying along the way in a beautiful traditional masseria surrounded by olive groves.
With its whitewashed towns, historic villages, coastline, wonderful food and seemingly endless olive groves, Puglia has a character all its own.
